Settings for a twin cutting head setup
The settings for the Twin cutting head are made in C:\STDMMI\HEGLA.INI.
Possible settings are:
WKZ_Offset_X= This is the offset from the 1st main cutting head to the 2nd auxiliary cutting head in X direction (measurement in inch = USA, mm = Europe and UK).
WKZ_Offset_Y= This is the offset from the 1st main cutting head to the 2nd auxiliary cutting head in Y direction (measurement in inch = USA, mm = Europe and UK).
Note: if both values are set to 0 then there is no 2 nd cutting head (or it is not in use due to damage)
KopfausgabeType= This determines how the twin cutting heads are used:
0 = machines with more than one physical cutting head where each head is allocated on its own Y- Axis. The post processor analyses the geometries and tries to carry out the cuts in Y- direction simultaneously.
1 = this is similar to setting 0 there is more than one physical cutting head but only one Y- axis. The cutting heads are first brought into position and mechanically fixed before the geometries are simultaneously cut.
2 = this setting is for machines with two cutting heads (and one Y-axis) that are both used to carry out the same function. The switching point between the two cutting heads is set using the glass thickness in the parameter KopfWechselAb= if the glass thickness is less than the set value then the 1st main cutting head is used, if the glass thickness is equal or larger than the set value then the 2nd auxiliary cutting head is used.
KopfWechselAb= sets the value of the glass thickness where the second cutting head is used (measurement in inch = USA, mm = Europe and UK). This is only active when the KopfausgabeType = 2.
