Changing the Blower Settings on an Optimax or Formline (not compatible w/ all machines)
From the main screen:
1. Log into the Service login from the Operator HMI: Service Shift+F3, Service Hegla Shift+F1.
2. There is no password, just click the green check mark. If it asks for a password enter the password "STDMMI.
3. You may have to click anywhere on the screen, before pressing F12 to go to the Diagnostic screen.
4. Click on “machine data” button.
5. Click on “edit machine data” button (new screen then appears).
6. Go to middle of the screen and scroll down to MK_DW224_255, click on this.
Blower settings on an Optimax in the Machine Data DW224_255:
In the machine data there are a number of values that you may need to change:

value #3 | Time close throttle valve (ms) | This is the time after which the throttle closes when positioning the thin glass (if set to zero then the blower will not switch on) |
value #6 | Time throttle valve break table close (ms) | This is the time after which the throttle on the breakout table closes when transporting glass onto the breakout table. |

This is the time after which the throttle on the breakout table opens again after the glass has stopped on the breakout table |
value # 16 | Time 2 close throttle valve (ms) | This is the time after which the throttle closes when positioning the thick glass (if set to zero then the blower will not switch on) |
value # 17 | Throttle valve step (mm) | The step between thin and thick glass e.g. 6 mm glass (< 6mm value #3 is used and if the glass is >6mm value #16 is used) |
value # 21 | Configuration blower optimax | you can configure the blower to switch on or off by adding the given values for transport in – out and alignment |
value # 23 | option timer blower on (alignment)(ms) | is an option that some tables have to switch the blower on for a short period after the buffers are forward (to stop the buffers damaging the glass) |
value # 24 | option time blower off (alignment)(ms) | is an option that some tables have to switch the blower off for a short period after the buffers are forward (to stop the buffers damaging the glass) |
#23 and #24 are used together (these are usually only required for thick glass with bad edges)!
