ALLEN BRADLEY - Checking the firmware version of a Panelview

  • Go to the gantry panelview and click the service softkey as shown below.

  • Now click the login soft key as shown below.

  • Once you clicked service a pop up window will appear. Try the following usernames and passwords:
Username: Hegla
Password: D37688
Username: 1
Password: 0100

  • Once you are logged in your screen should look like the one shown below. Then click the system soft key.

  • Push the Red Shut-down button


It will take you to the screen below

  1. push Terminal Settings [F4]
  2. System Information
  3. Enter


On the system information > About FactoryTalk View ME Station You will find the Firmware version. Note this version number.


To return to the production screen , just push Close the Window (F8) until you get the main screen and push Run Application [F2]
