How to use multipass edge deletion with HeglaCut

  • Open HeglaCut and make the cutting plan you need. The plan MUST have edge deletion turned on in the article! If you do not know how to make a plan here is a link to a video showing how to create a cutting plan. How to create a cutting plan in HeglaCut

  • Once you have made a plan your screen will be similar to the one shown below

  

  • Now you need to right click the lite you would like to do a multipass on and select "Elaborar la capa del vidrio" (shown below)

   

  • Now your screen will look like the one shown below. In the example below we will edge delete 50mm at point 1 and taper down to 0mm at point 2.

   

  • Going further...In the photo shown below we are edge deleting 50mm off the bottom of the light and to the right of the light. Once you have created what you want to edge delete simply click OK and continue with saving the plan.
